SUBSTANCE: method comprises compressing spherical nanoparticle by concentrated force, calculating displacement at the point of action of the force, calculating dependence of displacements on the radius of the nanoparticle when it is compressed with concentrated forces applied to the opposite end of the diameter and directed parallel the axis of force applying, comparing the experimental dependence of displacement and that obtained from the numerical experiment with the analytical solution, and, varying the Yang modulus of elasticity, finding the values of the Yang modulus of elasticity for which the displacements obtained from the numerical experiment and from the analytical dependence are the same.
EFFECT: enhanced precision.
