FIELD: electrical engineering; low-speed motors.
SUBSTANCE: proposed wave motor has cylindrical stator core whose external slots accommodate three-phase winding assembled of coils and rotor in the form of hollow cylinder enclosing stator core outer surface. Flexible magnetically sensitive member disposed between stator core and rotor is free to bend in radial direction without changing its length and comes in slip-free contact with hollow rotor and with outer surface of stator core. Gap is provided at least between magnetically sensitive member sections and stator core as well as between this member sections and rotor. Magnetically sensitive member sections contacting outer surface of stator core are disposed between its sections contacting rotor inner surface. Sequential current supply to stator three-phase winding coils causes bending of magnetically sensitive member in radial direction and attraction of some of its sections to stator core while its other sections abut against rotor inner surface and transfer electromagnetic torque thereto.
EFFECT: facilitated manufacture, simplified design, enhanced electromagnetic torque.
