ELECTRIC DRIVE Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

Abstract RU 2006146 C1

FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: electric drive has wave-wound motor and its control unit. Wave-wound motor is built-up of four wave-wound motors, two of which are cylindrical machines 4 and one linear motor 5, all having common rotor 3. Stators of cylindrical motors are loaded with springs 8 acting in axial direction and those of linear motors, with springs 10 acting circumferentially. Alternate connection of two motors (linear and cylindrical ones) at a time affords rotor movement with two degrees of freedom. EFFECT: improved design. 3 dwg
