FIELD: veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves using Lemna minor duckweed as biological agent for struggling against freshwater mollusca being intermediate hosts of Fasciola hepatica. The duckweeds are introduced into ditch water- or slightly running water pond not more than 1 m deep.
EFFECT: excluded risk of repeatedly populating the treated regions with freshwater mollusca.
