SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the devices for purification of the natural waters and sewage containing the suspended colloid- dispersed emulsified contaminations and may be used in the processes of the preliminary chemical water preparation and the sewage purification. The electro-flotosorption column contains the vertical sorption column having the body filled with the sorbent or the filtering material with the connecting pipes for the water feeding in and withdrawal. It is additionally supplied with the vertical system of the electro-flotation mounted with the capability of the source water stream movement top-down and arranged either directly in the body of the sorption column above the holey and-or netted partition separating the sorption and electro-floatation parts of the column or in the separate body arranged above the sorption column and connected with it by the adapter unit. At that the system of electro-flotation has the inlet chamber of the source water with the perforated and-or the netted bottom and the horizontal or inclined electrodes, and the slime withdrawal connecting pipe is arranged in the upper part of the column. The technical result of the invention is prevention of pollution of the ion-exchange charging, the increased efficiency of the water purification and productivity of the column.
