FIELD: heat and power industry; chemical industry; methods and devices of purification of natural and industrial waste waters by electroflotation.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the methods of purification of natural and industrial waste waters by electroflotation and may be used in heat and power industry, chemical industry, where the installations of chemical water treatment and purification of waste waters are used. The invention provides, that the method is realized at presence of a coagulant and a flocculant in the device containing electrodes. At that the electrodes are located in the lower part of the device. Separation of the liquid and solid phases is conducted in the upper part of the device in the area of concentration of the electroflotation slime saturated with bubbles of the electrolysis gases coming from below upwards. At that the initial water for purification is uniformly fed from above downwards on the electroflotation slime through a located in the upper part of the body the chamber with the bottom made out of a perforated and-or mesh material, and the clarified water transits in the electrode area, where it is additionally purified from the organic impurities. The method ensures a high degree of purification at a stable run of the process at the low densities of current.
EFFECT: the invention ensures a high degree of purification at a stable run of the process at the low densities of current.
