FIELD: industry of ceramic materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates mainly to mass compositions used in preparing acid-resistant materials. Ceramic mass comprises clay part of "tails" after gravitation of zircon-ilmenite ores, "tails" after concentrating polymetallic ores and microsilica after manufacture of ferrosilicon and ferroalloys with the content of SiO2 95-98% wherein components are taken in the following ratio, wt.-%: clay part of "tails" after gravitation of zircon-ilmenite ores, 50-70; "tails" after concentrating polymetallic ores, 10-20, and microsilica after manufacture of ferrosilicon and ferroalloys with the content of SiO2 95-98%, 20-30. Invention provides enhancing thermal stability of ceramic mass.
EFFECT: improved preparing method and properties of ceramic mass.
