FIELD: industry of ceramic materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mass compositions used in preparing acid-resistant materials. Method involves addition of water glass to ceramic mass comprising clay part of gravitation "tails" of zircon-ilmenite ores and pyrophyllite in the following ratio of components, wt.-%: clay part of gravitation "tails" of zircon-ilmenite ores, 20-40; pyrophyllite, 55-65, and water glass, 5-15. Invention provides enhancing resistance to cold and thermal stability of ceramic mass.
EFFECT: improved and valuable properties of ceramic mass.
