FIELD: manufacture of ceramic materials; composition of ceramic mixes for production of acid-resistant wares.
SUBSTANCE: calcium-containing slag obtained from white cast iron production process is added to ceramic mix containing clay part of "tailings" of zircon-ilmenite ore gravity concentration process, pyrophyllite and broken ceramic at the following ratio of components, mass-%: clay part of "tailings" of zircon-ilmenite ore gravity concentration process, 40-55; pyrophyllite, 35-40; broken ceramic, 3-6; slag 7-14.
EFFECT: enhanced heat resistance and acid resistance of ceramic mix.
