FIELD: means for checking of validity of digital marks on franking.
SUBSTANCE: according to the method, validity of franking mark applied onto post note, the cryptographic data in the note is subject to decoding and is sued for analyzing its validity. Reading device registers mark on franking in digital form and then transmits it to checker, which control procedure of partial checking, including in separation of barcode of mark of cryptographic line with asymmetric key in content and it is subject to decoding. Time is also checked before franking and date of its partial checking as well.
EFFECT: improved reliability of checking; higher speed of operation.
