SUBSTANCE: in accordance to method, when device 102 for wireless communication leaves first area 104 and enters second area 108, it receives information 204 about new list of preferred roaming. New list may not be synchronized with table for expanding functional capabilities stored in wireless communication device. On basis of information included in preferred roaming list, new, corresponding table 214 for expanding functional capabilities is received. Aforementioned table is synchronized with new list of preferred roaming.

EFFECT: possible synchronization of database of preferred roaming list based on roaming indicator.
