METHOD FOR EXCLUDING OVERHEATING SPOTS AT END SECTIONS OF ELECTRIC BUSES OF HEATED TRANSPARENT ELEMENT, HAVING ELECTRICALLY CONDUCTIVE ELEMENT Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC H05B3/84

Abstract RU 2292675 C2

FIELD: engineering of heated transparent elements.

SUBSTANCE: transparent element, for example, layered heated windshield, has a pair of electric buses positioned at a distance from each other on electrically conductive element, for example, sprayed electrically conductive cover. Cover perimeter is at a distance from peripheral edge of sheet with forming of non-conductive strip. Electrically conductive inputs, connected to electric buses, provide for external electric access to electric buses. End parts of each electric bus exit beyond the perimeter of cover into non-conductive strip for minimization, if not exception, of overheated spots of end sections of electric buses. For minimizing overheating spots, a pair of electric buses having varying length is included, while one of electric buses passes along upper side of cover, and another electric bus passes along lower side of cover. Cover portions between electric buses do not project beyond ends of longer electric bus. Windshield has observation zone having upper edge and lower edge, and cover has upper edge close to upper edge of observation zone and lower edge close to lower edge of observation zone. Upper electric bus is positioned close to upper edge of cover, and lower electric bus is positioned close to lower edge of cover, while both electric buses are positioned outside observation zone. Lower edge of cover is at greater distance from lower edge of observation zone than lower electric bus, and upper edge of cover is at greater distance from upper edge of observation zone in comparison to upper electric bus.

EFFECT: minimized overheating of end parts of electric buses.
