FIELD: fire-fighting, particularly to extinguish fires in closed structures (tunnels, manifolds, underpasses and underground rooms).
SUBSTANCE: method for fire extinguishment with the use of fire-extinguishant involves creating fire-extinguishing medium in fire site. Fire-extinguishant is located over suspended ceiling formed of combustible material so that fire-extinguishing medium is created at the moment of fire initiation without the use of special sensors and executive members.
EFFECT: increased fire safety of particular zones in closed structures.
