FIELD: cold rolling production of tubes.
SUBSTANCE: working stand for tube cold rolling mill has movable cassette and stationary frame consisting of base, vertical columns and cover with pressure wedge-type mechanisms which connect cover with columns through transverse bars. Working stand has four hydraulic cylinders mounted in pairs near vertical columns between base and cover. Hydraulic cylinders arranged near one of vertical columns are pivotally connected with vase and cover. Cover is mounted for rotation on one transverse bar, and other transverse bar is equipped with hydraulic cylinder adapted for longitudinal advancement thereof.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of tube cold rolling mill due to reduced time for performing operations including cassette withdrawal, and increased quality of ready tubes owing to employment of more effective balancing system.
