FIELD: rolled tube production processes and equipment, namely modified rolling stand of mill for cold rolling of tubes.
SUBSTANCE: rolling stand includes movable frame with supporting rails and movable cartridge having housing, working rolls with bearing assemblies in chocks and unit for axial adjustment of rolls. Chocks of bearing assemblies at least of one working roll are provided with stems rigidly joined one to other by means of bracing member. Said member is mounted in housing of cartridge with possibility of rotation and lengthwise motion and it has on lateral surfaces at both sides cutouts with wedge-shaped slopes engaging with unit for axial adjustment of rolls. Said unit is in the form of wedges arranged between slopes of bracing member and wall of cartridge housing.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency, high speed of rolling mill due to lowered dynamic loads provided by reduced weight of movable cartridge.
