FIELD: laser working of materials, possibly production of powders of micro- and nano-fraction sizes.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes evaporation chamber, laser optically coupled with rotary mirror and focusing system, target of powder, system for taking ultra dispersed powder. Apparatus includes in addition system for forming annular beam. Focusing system includes cone and cylindrical mirrors arranged in evaporation chamber. Inner diameter of cylindrical mirror is equal to mean diameter of annular beam. Apex angle of cone mirror is less than 90°. Powder jet is used as target. Apparatus also is provided with system for feeding powder along optical axis of focusing system and with system for separating ultra-dispersed powder by fractions.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of process, improved quality of ultra-dispersed powder.
