FIELD: heat power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: vortex heater comprises cylindrical housing that is covered with a shell and is provided with plug at the its outlet face, fluid accelerator, braking device, and branch pipes for discharging fluid. The inlet section of the cylindrical housing provided with the plug is eccentrically mounted inside the shell and is provided with an arch-shaped recess. The branch pipe for receiving fluid is mounted on the shell. The plug is movable in the housing, overlaps a part of the recess in the housing, and is provided with tie that projects out of the shell. The braking device is analogous to the inlet part of the cylindrical housing. The cylindrical housing is connected with the shell via a segment member coupled with the longitudinal edge of the housing recess and inner wall of the shell. The shell is provided with a dummy plug, when the branch pipe for receiving fluid is radially oriented, and with semi-dummy plug, when the branch pipe is oriented along the axis.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency.
