FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to separation of immiscible fluids and may be used in oil-and-gas, petroleum and chemical machine building. Proposed device comprises casing, separated phases accumulating compartments, mix inlet branch pipes and those of discharging different-density liquid phases, settling zone with thin-layer modules of parallel coalescing elements made up of lengthwise inclined webs with convex and concave flutes directed toward inclination of webs arranged one above the other. Paired and opposed rectangular webs with jointed flanges are arranged along surfaces of adjoining webs and sheets along gas mix flow. Flanges are jointed by retainers to allow adjusting the distance between adjacent inclined webs.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of separation.
