FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gas and oil industry, petrochemical industry, chemical machine building, etc. It can be used for separation of immiscible different-density fluids, for example, hydrocarbons and methanol or glycol water solutions. Besides, it can be used for fluid degassing, in natural and associated oil gas and condensate processing plants, e.g. at low-temperature separation and condensation plants. It comprises horizontal housing with inlet pipe provided with flute for directed feed of the mix, discharge and separated phase collection pipes, compartment for collection of heavy liquid phase with overflow pipe, compartment for collection of light liquid phase, settling zone with thin-ply modules, separation adapter arranged ahead of thin-ply module. Note here that inlet pipe is provided with different-direction mix feed flutes oriented in cross-wise direction towards housing sidewalls. Compartment for collection of heavy liquid phase is provided with cover with overflow web arranged thereon and made of zigzag or wavy plate. Heavy phase overflow pipe is composed of strength pipe length arranged vertically in the compartment of heavy liquid phase collection and has upper-part height-adjustable coupling. Coupling lower part is arranged in heavy phase collection pipe. Heavy phase collection compartment cover is provided with breather pipe with its top brought to gas phase collection zone. Height-adjustable coupling is connected by con rod via breather pipe with hand wheel located outside the unit.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of mixing separation of immiscible liquid phases, expanded range of efficient operation, higher efficiency, decreased separator sizes, levelled flows over separator cross-section.
