FIELD: hydro-acoustics, possible use for adjustment in natural conditions of receiving channels of hydro-acoustic Doppler log.

SUBSTANCE: in accordance to method, on a ship with log mounted on it, trim difference is created to form a difference of routes between one ray of antenna of log and bottom and second ray and bottom, while time of passage of sound through this difference portion should exceed duration of emitted impulse. Then for this trim difference phase shifts are adjusted serially in each one of two receiving channels, to achieve maximal ratio between levels of useful signal and interference from other channel at their output.

EFFECT: possible separation in time of signals of same frequency reflected from soil, received via symmetric beams of log antenna.
