SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the improved method for synthesis of optically active amines of the formula (I): wherein * means optically active atom; R1 means substituted, unsubstituted, branched or unbranched (C1-C10)-alkyl, arylalkyl, hetarylalkyl or hetaryl; R2 means substituted, unsubstituted, branched or unbranched (C1-C10)-alkyl, arylalkyl, aryl, hetarylalkyl or hetaryl; R3 means hydrogen atom, hydroxyl, substituted, unsubstituted, branched or unbranched (C1-C10)-alkyl; X means oxygen atom or -NH. Method involves the following steps: (a) interaction of compounds of the general formula (II): with compounds of the formula: R2-XH (III) in the presence of a base to yield compounds of the general formula (IV): (b) interaction of reaction solution of compounds of the general formula (IV) with compounds of the general formula: -NH2-R3 (V) to yield compounds of the general formula (VI): (c) hydrogenation of compounds of the general formula (VI) to yield compounds of the general formula (VII): in the presence of a hydrogenation catalyst, in particular, catalysts based on Ni, Co, Pt, Pd, Ru or Rh; (d) cleaving racemates of compounds of the general formula (VII) to yield compounds of the general formula (I) of optically active carboxylic acid or esters of the general formula (VIII): in the presence of lipase or esterase. Also, invention relates to novel optically active amides of the formula (VIII) and a method for synthesis of compounds of the formula (VII). Method provides carrying out the process with the high enantioselectivity in cleaving racemates with using small amounts of the parent substances and catalyst in the broad range of reaction conditions.
