FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for burning in a bell-type furnace of a pile of cold-rolled strip steel rolls. A convector ring includes ribs located in parallel planes in a circumferential direction with an equal pitch at an angle to radial direction. Each of the ribs of one plane is connected through end hinges to a pair of ribs of another plane parallel to it and connected by means of an internal hinge to a rib located inside the above pair of ribs. Three of the internal hinges have the possibility of translational movement relative to the ribs that are connected with them.
EFFECT: increasing stability of a convector ring and reducing weldability of roll coils at annealing.
