SELF-PROPELLED WHEELED TRUCK AND METHOD OF ITS CONTROL Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC E04H6/18 

FIELD: construction engineering; passenger car garages.

SUBSTANCE: proposed self-propelled wheeled truck for horizontal displacement of cars between boxes arranged along longitudinal axis of truck by lifting two or more wheels of car in one or multistory car parking building contains great number of fixed and/or movable inlet and outlet boxes and car displacement boxes. Truck contains one or two pairs of supports for wheels of both or one of axles of car. Said supports are made for symmetrical displacement in direction square to longitudinal axis of truck, being made to provide centering owing to horizontal displacement of car wheels which is changed depending on measured inner gauge of pairs of car wheels to align longitudinal axis of car longitudinal axis of truck. Supports are made for fixing and lifting car wheels. Self-propelled truck is coupled by hinged pins whose horizontal axis are square to its longitudinal axis to provide relative turning between two parts of said truck arranged from two sides of hinged pins. One part has at least four support wheels. Other part of truck has at least two support wheels. One part of truck has also pair wheel supports made for symmetrical travel in direction square to longitudinal axis of truck, being made to support, align, fix in stationary state and lift two wheels on one axle of car. Other part of truck has pair of wheel supports made for symmetrical travel in direction square to longitudinal axis of truck, being made to support, align, fix in stationary state and lift two wheels of other axle of car. Wheel supports are arranged to support simultaneously four wheels of car irrespective of its wheelbase.

EFFECT: provision of reliable displacement of cars in garage.
