FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to frames of railway car bogies, bogies containing such frame, as well as to methods for making frames. Bogie frame comprises two lengthwise beams and crossbar. Each lengthwise beam comprises two sidewalls and at least one central sheet connecting sidewalls to each other. Lengthwise beams are joined by cross bar. Sidewalls and central sheets are cut from metal sheet without bends. Flat billet of longitudinal beam sheets is cut out to make bogie frame. Longitudinal beams are assembled. Lengthwise beams with crossbar are connected to produce bogie frame.
EFFECT: simplification of bogie frame manufacturing process.
