FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to internal combustion engines with vanes. Proposed wheel-and-vane engine has body with combustion chamber and lines laid to chamber. Equal diameter wheels are installed in combustion chamber on two opposite walls of body, and vanes are installed between wheels on axle shafts. Each vane is connected with each wheel by one axle-shaft. Distance between parallel axle-shafts of one vane is equal to distance between parallel axles of wheels and it does not exceed radius of wheel. Twin segment is installed on wheel axles. Thickness of vanes at ends is smaller than their thickness in central part. Engine has second combustion chamber arranged opposite to first one. Gates are found on ends of twin segment. Gates installed on body opposite to ends of twin segment.
EFFECT: improved combustion of fuel-air mixture.
