FIELD: pipeline engineering.
SUBSTANCE: bellows compensator comprises rings mounted in the hollows of corrugations. The corrugations and rings are made of a reinforced composite material. The side surface of the ring is convex, e.g. is shaped into a torus, and the sizes of the ring and corrugation is determined from the equation proposed.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability.
