FIELD: weaponry, in particular, revolver weapon of automatic and non-automatic types for fire by ammunition, having no cartridge cases, applicable in small-caliber artillery systems, mortars, grenade launchers and in hand small arms.
SUBSTANCE: the drum is made as a traditional revolver drum with a horizontal axis of rotation The drum has a body with chambers, the chambers on the rear end are closed with threaded bushes with a piston placed in each bush, the piston is fitted on the front end of the striker rod, and by a head on the outer end of the striker rod, fixing and confinement of ammunition in the chamber are accomplished by means of a spring retaining ring installed inside the chamber in the clearance between the drum body and the front end of the threaded bush.
EFFECT: simplified loading process, which is converted only to operation of drum loading by ammunition, and as a result, simplified automatic mechanism of revolver weapon.
