HAND FIRE-ARM OF REVOLVER TYPE WITH A DISK DRUM Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC F41C3/14 

FIELD: the invention refers to hand fire-arm primarily in civil and police form.

SUBSTANCE: the weapon has a body in which there is a barrel, a magazine in the shape of a disk drum with horizontal lateral axle of rotation located below the axle of the channel of the barrel with several spaced one from another with an identical angular step chambers for ammunition primarily for cartridges each of which in combat position is in alignment with the channel of the barrel, a locking arrangement, mechanisms of turning and fixation of the drum, the arrangement for shooting with a trigger, an arrangement for overcharging, a protection arrangement and a handle and primarily a spare drum in an extendible cassette common for two drums. The revolver has additionally the second barrel located in parallel to the first on the same level with forming a block of barrels and the drum is fulfilled of two parallel and firmly related disk half-drums with the above-mentioned chambers for ammunition. At that the flatness of the longitudinal axles of the chambers of the semi-drums are spaced on axle base of the barrels, and the chambers of the half-drums are located with an angular displacement in the flatness of rotation in chess order so that for each chamber of one half-drum corresponds diametrically located chamber of another half-drum.

EFFECT: increases combat characteristics of the weapon, operability of its overcharging, and also increases strength and reliability of construction.
