SUBSTANCE: proposed linear induction motor has inductor incorporating core that carries multiphase winding and secondary member built of magnetically permeable core whose slots accommodate insulated conducting bars disposed one on top of other and closed on one end by common conducting bus and on other end, by closing cylinder built of conducting and insulating parts installed for turning about their axes, for instance with aid of handle. Secondary member has one more additional winding of conducting bars insulated from each other; this winding is disposed in additional core slots and abuts against closing cylinder on one and against shorted additional conducting bus, on other end. One more additional inductor incorporating core carrying multiphase winding is mounted above additional winding.
EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities due to displacement of additional inductor.
