FIELD: piezoelectric transducers.
SUBSTANCE: proposed multicomponent piezoelectric transducer is assembled of separate elementary transducers, each incorporating piezoid with electrodes and current collectors on opposite surfaces it also has damper and matching layer. Electroacoustic layer is disposed by means of binding material between side surfaces of elementary transducers. Matching layers of all elementary transducers are covered with common focusing lens. Proposed method for manufacturing multicomponent piezoelectric transducer includes manufacture of primary transducer by soldering solid current collectors made of piezoceramic wafer throughout its length and coating opposite surfaces of electrodes with damping and matching layers. Then piezoceramic wafer is cut into elementary transducers which are sorted out according to electroacoustic parameters, and sorted-out parts are glued together through electroacoustic insulating layer over cutting plane. After that focusing lens is secured on side of matching layers.
EFFECT: enhanced sensitivity and resolving power.
