SUBSTANCE: the protector is formed between a piezoelement and a monitored medium and the damper is placed from another side of the piezoelement. The piezoelement thickness and the protector thickness are determined on the basis of the resonant frequency of the piezoelement of fpe = (1.10÷1.12)f + (0.1÷0.2) where f - effective frequency of echo impulse, and protector and damper materials are selected with acoustic resistance from the ranges satisfying to certain relations.
EFFECT: improvement of acoustic matching of piezoelement of immersion piezoelectric converter with monitored medium.
