FIELD: electric engineering.
SUBSTANCE: in circuit interrupter in accordance to invention at least on one of side walls of contact device an open flange is located, which contains an aperture passing inside, while on lower section of rotary shaft, which is positioned on lower part of body, impact element is mounted. Air flow affects impact element with excessive pressure, exiting through open flange of contact device, resulting in generation of force. This force is transferred to activation element through rotary shaft and is amplified, then quickly strikes the shutter and performs disabling. Intermediary stage is excluded due to the fact that this force is generated before the force affecting disabling device, which is formed due to thermal energy and electromagnetic part of electromagnetic system, therefore low voltage interrupter provides fast disconnection and allows substantial improvement of disconnection time and improvement of interruption characteristics.
EFFECT: increased efficiency.
