FIELD: informational and measuring equipment, in particular, methods for measuring electrical voltage.

SUBSTANCE: method includes integration of difference between input voltage and intermediate signal, received by means of impulse modulation by switching to clocked time moment of polarity of supporting and threshold voltages when integral crosses given difference of threshold level and production of digital equivalent of voltage being transformed by means of counting impulses of bearing frequency, filling impulses of intermediate signal, while main result of transformation is received as digital equivalent of intermediate signal during transformation time moment, consisting of periods of impulse modulation, fully enclosed in transformation time interval, while digital equivalents of intermediate signal during periods of impulse modulation at the beginning and end of transformation time are multiplied by relatively value of part of period of impulse modulation, being within transformation time, and received results of multiplication are added to main result.

EFFECT: increased precision of transformation due to decreased component of methodic error from edge effects.
