FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, technique used for soil mellowing, covering, undercutting and combing out weeds, and also for leveling of soil surface.
SUBSTANCE: multiple-operation roller is made in the form of battery having rings which are formed as truncated cone and connected to battery shaft by means of spokes. Battery shaft is positioned at an angle to direction of advancement of apparatus and is connected to frame of apparatus through carriers. Reaction tie-rod and pressure levers are mounted between carriers. Roller ring rims are equipped with single-sided corrugation, and rim edges are made sharpened. One end of reaction tie-rod has damped connection. One of battery carriers has construction including extendable part and pressure lever. Extendable part is positioned at side opposite to side where pins for attachment to frame are located.
EFFECT: improved quality of overall mellowing and mulching of soil, improved undercutting of weeds and reduced roller draft.
