FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, milking technique.
SUBSTANCE: low-vacuum milking unit has suspension part consisting of milk claw having casing with chamber, milk discharge branch pipe and branch pipes with milk passages. Each milk passage has corrugated portion and teat cup inserted into said portion and incorporating sucker. Each sucker has stopper-plug and vacuum pipe fixed on sucker body. One end of vacuum pipe is connected to vacuum chamber of sucker and other end is connected to air branch pipe on casing and may be joined to vacuum source. Suspension part has milk claw attached to casing and counterweight fixed to milk claw and equipped with detachable load compensating members for rendering additional stability to milk claw in its horizontal position when front quadrants of animal udder mammary gland are stripped. Milking unit of such construction provides operating mode maximally approximating animal's physiology.
EFFECT: increased efficiency in milking of animals and improved quality of milk.
