FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves applying steroid preparations and additional infrared corneal infiltrate laser radiation therapy. Treatment parameters are wavelength of 810 nm, radiation power of 300-400 mW, spot diameter of 3.00 mm, exposure time equal to 1 min. The treatment is carried out along corneal flap edge all over the whole diameter with 7-8 pulses per 1-2 treatment sessions given with 1-2 days long pause.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in preventing cornea opacity, refraction shift towards hypermetropia, irregular astigmatism development; accelerated treatment course.
