FIELD: ferro-magnetic alloys used for manufacture of heating elements for kitchen hollow-ware.
SUBSTANCE: proposed ferro-magnetic alloy contains the following constituents, mass-%: nickel, 32.5-72.5; chromium, 5-18; manganese, 0.01-0.5; carbon ≤1; the remainder being iron and unavoidable admixtures; it may also contain one or several elements selected from Mo, V, Co, Cu, Si, W, Nb and Al; total content of these elements does not exceed 10 mass-%. Alloy satisfies the following relationship: Cr-1.1Ni+23.25≤0, 45Cr+11Ni≤1360, Ni+Cr≥37.5, Cr≥7.5 if Ni≤37.5. Alloy is suitable for treatment by cladding, stamping, molding and cutting; alloy has high thermal losses under action of induced electric current. Articles made from this alloy withstand deformation with time and during functioning, possess satisfactory corrosion resistance; they may be used for cooking at temperature from 30 to 350°C.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and reliability.
