TRANSMISSION WITH A FLEXIBLE GEARING MEMBER Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC F16H9/24

Abstract RU 2295077 C1

FIELD: the invention refers to machine building particularly to transmissions with flexible gearing members and may be used in mechanical draughts with changeable gear ratio.

SUBSTANCE: the transmission with a flexible gearing member has a driving and a driven elements each of them consisting of two conical disks (7,8), and of a flexible gearing member covering the transmitting elements. The conical disk (8) has possibility of axial transfer. Each conical disk (7,8) has on the conical surface diametrically opposite grooves (17) located opposite to the grooves of the corresponding conical disk. Two carriages (18) are installed in the grooves (17) for transfer along them. The conical disks (7,8) are provided with hubs in which there are ring grooves (21) with a cylindrical spring (22) located in them. The mobile disk (8)has a pusher (12) whose end of the working surface is fulfilled in the shape of a hemisphere mated with the adjusting screw (11) in a bushing (13). The tension roller is provided with a ring.

EFFECT: smooth adjustment of gearing ratio of the transmission without stopping and unloading, increasing service life and reducing time necessary for changing gearing ratio.
