FIELD: medical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: device has longitudinal axis, handle on the first end, head on the second end, shaft passing from the handle to the head, the first and second bristle holders as the first version. The first bristle holder is fixed with the first rotation axle or with the hinge on the remote head end and connected to the remote shaft end. The remote shaft end enters into the first bristle holder groove to set it in oscillatory motion. The first bristle holder includes rigidly fixed part. The second bristle holder is movably mounted on the head and comes in engagement with rigidly fixed part of the first bristle holder being put in action by it. The second embodiment of the electric toothbrush has electric drive with shaft and cam on the remote shaft end, the first brush section and the second brush section. The first brush section is functionally connected to the cam for making the first movement and has a rigid member. The second brush section is distant in longitudinal direction from the first brush section and is set in the second motion type by the rigid member of the first section.

EFFECT: simplified brush-manufacturing process.
