FIELD: processes and equipment for electric arc welding, namely apparatuses for remote control of welding current.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes control board 1; controlled welding current source 5 provided with control circuit 4 having electric current regulator; welding current cables 8, 9. Control board 1 includes metallic housing for providing electric contact with article 11 to be welded, control contacts 2, 3 that may be electrically connected with welding electrode 10; HF-generator placed in said housing. Said generator is connected with metallic housing and with control contacts 2, 3 and power is supplied to it from source 5 of welding current for transmitting control HF-signals to control circuit 4 through welding cables 8,9. Control circuit 4 includes HF-unit for receiving command signals and actuating unit 7 acting upon electric current regulator of power source 5. Electric current change value is proportional to time period of turning-on of control board or to number of its turning-on, sign of said change (more or less) is determined by selection of respective control contact.

EFFECT: improved design of apparatus not needing use of special cables between control board and source of welding current and having no control organs in the form of knobs, buttons and so on.
