FIELD: welding works.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to arc welding of large-diameter pipelines and robotic systems for automatic welding of fixed circular butt joints of large-diameter pipelines. Robotic self-regulating welding complex includes a welding arc power source with a voltage meter located inside it, support belt, welding head, welding wire feed unit, laser sensor, control panel for manual control of welding head, start and stop of welding process and correction of parameters during welding, accelerometer, gas cylinder and laptop. Before the pipe welding process, the welding head power supply is started, from which all the components of the robotic welding complex are powered and put into operation, after starting the power supply, a laptop is turned on to start the program for controlling the complex and the program for controlling the laser sensor, wherein the program for controlling the complex receives scanning data, which is recorded by the laser sensor, and uses them in the welding process, to start the welding process in the control program, a mode is created in which the welding process will be carried out, parameters are set and the name and number of the layer are selected. Welding head is moved to the starting point, as a result of which the welding head is moved 10 degrees from the starting point up the pipe, the section is scanned, which starts 10 degrees before the welding start point and ends where the laser sensor is located at the moment when the welding torch installed on the welding head reaches the welding process start point.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of welding, as well as a possibility of taking into account fusion face deformation, which occurs during pipe heat up in the process of welding.
