FIELD: employment of additives to diesel fuel for protection of diesel engine fuel combustion systems.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in enhancing of one of the following parameters: wear resistance of engine, saving of fuel and forming of film at boundary of lubricating oil with engine. Proposed method includes delivery of diesel fuel containing additive with manganese compound to diesel fuel combustion chamber, burning fuel in combustion chamber at obtaining of at least one by-product containing manganese compound, delivery of manganese-containing compound in the amount sufficient for forming the complex compound with at least one combustion by-product; manganese-containing compound includes approximately 5 to 30 mg of manganese per liter of fuel. Machine oil contains at least 3 mass-% of soot. Diesel fuel combustion system consists of one or more components: exhaust gas recirculation system, either hot or cooled, turbo-superchargers with changeable spiral or turbo-superchargers of varying geometry, fuel injection system with common rack, electronically controlled injectors with hydraulic drive, fuel-and-air mixture system which are supplied by turbo-supercharged and are post-cooled, systems at increased mean pressure at fuel injection and at increased rate of injection, electronic control system of fuel-and-air mixture, fuel and exhaust by-products, system with changeable drive of valves, system of homogeneous compression at ignition and coat of low friction coefficient on engine surface.
EFFECT: improved operation of diesel engine combustion system due to improved quality of lubricating oil containing soot particles as fuel combustion by-product.
