FIELD: devices for taking heating plant ash samples of ash caught at last fields of electric filters, possible use for estimating composition and quality of free-flowing material located in small concentrations in free-flowing stream in discharged gas environment.

SUBSTANCE: device for taking samples of free-flowing material from free-falling stream contains sample-taking tool in form of chute, moveably mounted on shell, mounted at an angle on wall of vessel, and receiving barrel for taken sample of free-flowing substance. Chute of sample-taking tool is made of resilient sheet material and in all cross-sections has shape of semi-circles, greatest radius of which is at cross-section located on the middle of chute, with even decrease of these radiuses length-wise down to minimal values at ends of chute. Bandage rings are held on ends of chute with similar radial dimensions. External diameters of bandage rings are less than internal minimal diameter of inclined guiding shell. Sample-taking barrel of similar diameter, blinded on opposite side, is connected to another end of lower bandage ring. Internal surface of guiding shell is made in form of two truncated cones of same size mated by lesser bases. Internal edges of shell ends are provided with round bevels along larger bases of cones.

EFFECT: possible taking of samples from free-falling stream of free-flowing material with low concentration for fixed moment of operation of equipment, and prevented disruption of representative capacity of sample in case of its unblocking with discharge zone.
