FIELD: sampling.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for sampling of a flow of loose material, involving periodically cutting into a sample of equal proportions of material from a moving flow at defined and equal intervals, at crosswise flow straight section and equal thickness, equal amount of material is cut off to sample from all parts of flow, and at different thickness of flow amount of material taken is proportional to thickness of flow, initially moving flow of loose material is directed along free fall trajectory. Method is characterized in that flow of free-falling bulk material is cut along entire width and thickness in transverse direction by moving surface of closed conveyor belt, direction of flow is changed to horizontal by movement of flow material at constant speed on surface of closed belt of conveyor, then directed along trajectory of free fall, part of volume of material is cut off and removed into the sampling unit from the entire thickness of the flow and a sample of loose material is formed. Invention also relates to the device.
EFFECT: use of the proposed invention increases reliability and maximum representativeness of sampling bulk material by sampling over the entire width and thickness in the transverse direction of the moving surface of the closed continuously moving belt.
