FIELD: mechanical engineering, in particular, constructional members for vacuum cleaning units used in commercial and household vacuum dust removal systems.

SUBSTANCE: head for vacuum cleaner has holding unit for connection of head to dust-laden air pipe and dust-and-air permeable partition which closes channel opening of dust-laden air pipe, said holding unit and partition being connected to one another. Holding unit is adapted for contacting with surface of dust-laden air pipe and consists of two oppositely arranged springy members. Shape of surface contacting with dust-laden air pipe of each springy member conforms to shape of surface of dust-laden air pipe channel.

EFFECT: provision for employing partition with different types of replaceable heads and wider operational capabilities of heads for vacuum cleaners.
