FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves irradiating lumbar segment zone 2 cm far from spinal processes with coherent strictly oriented infrared CO2-radiation. Radiation wavelength is equal to 10,6 mcm, radiation power - 15-125 mW/cm2 in a periodic pulsating mode, pulse duration is 0.5-5 ms long, pauses are 10-50 ms long. Irradiation is applied by consecutively moving radiation beam over lumbar area. Irradiation duration of in a zone is 6-7 s long with a 40-50 s long pause, general exposure time lasts 3-15 min. Single mode radiation spectrum structure is applied with mode of ТЕМ001. Strictly oriented radiation divergence is 6.5х10-3 radians.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment; reduced risk of negative side effects without strong analgesics being consumed.
