FIELD: medicine; traumatology, particularly, laser treatment of pain in locomotive apparatus. SUBSTANCE: method involves irradiating affected region 5-15 sq.cm in size with divergent beam of carbon-dioxide laser radiation at wavelength of 10.6 mu and power density ranging from 0.06 to 0.1 W/sq.cm; irradiation is carried out daily during 5-7 days, with single exposure lasting from 3 to 5 minutes. EFFECT: higher efficiency of pain treatment.
