FIELD: electrified railways.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method can be used to reduced induction effect of electrified railway traction system onto adjacent communication lines. Increase of protection of adjacent communication lines at maximum compensation of electromagnetic interference signal is provided by additional change of value of cancellating current. Interference cancellation system includes generator and gain control unit by means of which instantaneous value of gain and, consequently, value of cancellating current in return wire is changed. Amplitude and frequency of change are chosen to provide stability of oscillatory system. Invention increases effectiveness of compensation of traction current harmonics producing psophometric action onto communication lines adjacent to traction system. This is provided by use of properties of oscillatory systems with parameters periodically changing in time. At additional periodic changes of value of compensating force, additional damping appears which provides stability of oscillatory system under maximum cancellating current conditions, i.e. parametric stabilization of system is provided.
EFFECT: improved protection of communication lines.
