FIELD: oil production industry, particularly means to isolate one well bore section from another one in air-tight manner.

SUBSTANCE: packer comprises mandrel with outer thread, sealing member arranged on the mandrel, upper and lower cones, upper and lower gripping means connected to the cones and split nut located in upper cone. Upper cone is provided with thread mating mandrel thread and formed in inner surface thereof and with outer thread. Packer additionally has rest formed in lower mandrel part as plug or plug with case.

EFFECT: increased operational reliability, reduced costs and simplified technological works for packer installation.
