FIELD: structural members of articles operating at cryogenic temperatures, particularly for rocket and aeronautical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: pressure-resistant shell comprises metal case coated with foam plastic. Primer layer is disposed between the metal case and foam plastic layer. Foam plastic layer is additionally secured with glued mesh. Primer includes anticorrosive covering and damping sub-layer. The foam plastic has apparent density of 37-50 kg/m3, compression at 10% deformation of not less than 0.16 MPa and heat conductivity factor of not more than 0.026 W/(m·K). The mesh is made of Capron and is glued by low-temperature glue, which creates moisture-protective covering. Additional heat-protective layer, moisture-proof layer and paint-and-varnish layer may be connected to cylindrical parts of above articles. Heat-protective layer is made of foam plastic, moisture-proof layer is formed of above glue layer and paint-and-varnish layer is made of enamel.
EFFECT: reduced weight along with decreased heat conductivity, increased strength and reliability and simplified manufacture.
